Shu Uemura, Nuxe Huille, Lucas Paw Paw, Mac Fix +, Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge

I’m just back from shooting a Fashion Campaign in St Tropez, South of France and how happy I was to see London drenched in Sunshine! I love London when the weather is good and the people are happy, bars are bustling, parks are alive again and daylight lasts until almost 10pm – you just can’t beat the buzz.  Here are a few products I can’t live without when shooting in the heat and sunshine, check them out for your go to Summer staples:

First and foremost is the Shu Uemura Base Mouse (at Space NK £29) which I apply with a small duo fibre make-up brush (from Mac £26). This mouse acts as a lightweight primer, protector and skin perfector in one and sits comfortably under foundation, providing a high performance UVA and UVB skin protection. Second is my all time favourite Lucas Paw Paw Ointment which I use on pretty much everything from lips to insect bites, cracked skin to burns. It truly is fantastic and I don’t go anywhere without it! Thirdly is the Nuxe dry oil, I love this product because of its versatility. Either use as beauty enhancing highlighter on the face by dabbing on the cheekbones and lips, or mix with a moisturiser or even apply straight to the skin for a quickly absorbed silky glistening finish which wont rub off on to clothing. You can also transform dry hair into supple, shiny locks by applying Huile Prodigieuse® generously as a mask then wrap your head in a warm towel and relax for 10 minutes. Rinse off then apply your usual shampoo. A three in one wonder product which is perfect for travelling light – something that is quite a challenge these days! I also love to have a facial spritz of some kind, to cool the model or even the crew down sometimes. Try Fix + (Mac £13.50) an aqua-spritz of vitamins and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance and finishes makeup. Also I like to carry a pop of colour around with me and personally prefer to add a lip as eye make-up can crease and feel a little heavy in the heat. Try the Bobbi Brown Rouge Pot’s for a little burst of colour.
