Surviving the Desert

I am gearing up for the trip of a lifetime to Burning Man in Black Rock City, Nevada. Followed by a quick stop in Las Vegas and some chill out time in Mexico. Super excited but also need to be prepared as I will be living in the Desert for eleven days of my trip. Something tells me my beauty regime will need to be simplified… here are my must have’s, as minimal as possible that is!

Estee Lauder Bronze SPF 30 this has a fantastic texture, is quickly absorbed and really luxurious with a great scent. Great for a little extra treat on the face.

Hawaiian Tropic I will be loading up on my seasonal hit of Hawaiian Tropic, I love this brand, always have and always will – the smell alone is so reminiscent of beach life.

Make-up will be minimal, clean skin with my new fave lippies from Illamasqua in Flare, Immodest and Corrupt to really pack a punch. Not forgetting their amazing UV nail colours in Ouija and Omen.

Lucas Paw Paw Ointment my one key product I can’t live without.

I’ll throw a few MAC Chromacake’s into my case for a some tribal body painting and also Renbow Crazy Colour in Lilac and Candy Floss semi-perminant hair dye. I’m taking the Bumble and Bumble Surf Shampoo and Conditioner and my latest addiction the Bumble and Bumble Tonic Soin Preparateur. I just love this scent! Tip of the week: make your own prep spray by mixing a few drops of Rosemary Essential Oil and Tea Tree into a water spray bottle and apply it to wet hair.

So that’s my round up of beauty essentials for Desert life, top that off with a touch of fancy dress and I’m ready to go. See y’all on the other side!
